Tab Trade - The Short Version
TabTrade opened in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.
The Software
Available: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from the same login. Many only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people like it better than MT5 after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently in the works. That would be a good addition when it lands.
What You Pay
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your real cost can be under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most platforms that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. This broker has no minimum.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not relevant to the average person. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Execution Speed
The execution is where this broker actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.
Combine those fill times with the Edge account pricing and what you get is strong. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
Here is the part that matters. TabTrade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It should inform how you think about it.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense depends on you.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You deposit, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before funding.
