TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown

The Broker — What It Is

TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to a founder with no industry background.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform this new, the breadth is not narrow.

The Software

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MT4 or MT5 before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.

FIX API is available for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should make the platform set when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to typical accounts. Skip it unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

The execution is the thing Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.

Does this affect you? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Few brokers at this price point have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

This is the part that matters. The broker is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Dodgy operations do not pay for Equinix connectivity. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your decision.

The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.

The Bonus

Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You fund your account, TabTrade add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before funding.
