TabTrade - What It Is
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background matters. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. It is preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something this new, the breadth is solid.
What You Trade On
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the alternative. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Many people prefer it after comparing.
FIX API is there for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly coming. That will be a good addition once it is live.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Suits beginners.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
The execution is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform run a much wider range.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals what kind of broker this is.
Combine those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
This is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But inform how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works is your call.
The Bonus
TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard sign-up bonus. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
